Struggled in two of four runs as 3yo but won a Hamilton handicap (6f, good to soft) on penultimate start; lightly raced 4yo who is a half-brother to an AW winner; creditable fourth of six at Pontefract (6f, good) on Wednesday.

All four wins have been on AW, two over C&D; has had some ups and downs since his last success in September but went very close at Kempton last month and runner-up off this mark over C&D last time; shortlisted.

Ran well in face of a stiff task in a Carlisle Listed event last summer; backed that up with a close third in a Thirsk handicap (7f, good) but she's lost her way in three subsequent runs; should be fine on this drop back in trip but she needs a major revival on this second run after a break.

Won a Racing League handicap off this mark last summer; three solid efforts this year, including a third at Newcastle (6f, Tapeta) last month and a close fourth in big field at Ripon two weeks ago; remains lightly raced on AW and he's a key player back in this sphere.

Both wins have been on turf but he's unexposed on AW and has finished close up over C&D and at Newcastle (5f) in his two runs this year; on same mark as last time and he should make another bold bid back up in trip.

Off the mark at the 11th attempt when landing a Chepstow maiden (6f, soft) in September but that was a golden opportunity and he struggled back in a handicap in his final run last season; drops back in grade on his return but he has a patchy profile and others are more convincing.

All three wins have been on Tapeta including two in a row at Wolverhampton (5f) in February; no impact in last two starts but she had some traffic issues at Wolverhampton last time and this step back up in trip is no problem; not ruled out.

Won at Sandown (7f, good to soft) in August 2023 but unplaced in 13 starts since and last of 12 here (7f) in January; mark continues to fall but he has a lot to prove back in trip after a break; regular hood removed.
