Crest Of Stars
2m maiden hurdle (good) winner here in January; disappointed on heavy ground over C&D after but bounced back when a staying-on third on handicap debut at Ludlow (2m, good) last time, suggesting he'd be worth another try at this trip; respected back in a novice with Chad Bament claiming 7lb.

Led - headed before 2nd - pressed leaders before 4 out - weakened after 3 out - not fluent 2 out (vet said gelding lost left-fore shoe)
Runner-up in an Irish 3m point behind a subsequent good hurdle winner; has since shaped with promise in a Wincanton bumper and maiden hurdle (1m7f; good) for this stable, the latter following wind surgery; not beaten far on any of those occasions and there could be a good bit of improvement forthcoming now going up in trip.

In touch with leaders - lost position when bit short of room and outpaced under 3f out - in the clear over 1f out - ran on final furlong - went second towards finish
1-11 in Irish points but his recent efforts have been uninspiring back from an absence and he changed hands for £2,000 in March; faces a tough task on stable/rules debut.

In touch with leaders - not fluent and dropped to rear 5th - weakened before 3 out (vet said gelding lost right-hind shoe)(op 66/1)
French hurdle winner (2m1f, very soft) in June, but he disappointed when sent off a short-priced favourite on stable debut at Kempton (2m, good) in November; off since but he's been given wind surgery and it would be no surprise should he leave that effort behind.
