Won a 7f Musselburgh maiden (good) last August; had tough task in valuable sales race at York the following month but he was well held again when last of four on handicap debut here (8.6f; first run since gelded) last month; may have needed that after a break but he has some questions to answer.

The maiden he won over C&D last September was a weak one and he found a York sales race too hot to handle one month later; gelded during his absence but he looks on a tough mark for handicap debut and others are preferred.

0-9 when trained in Ireland but he won a C&D maiden on stable debut last month and backed that up with a creditable third in a Kempton handicap (7f) last week; on same mark here and he should give it another good shot.

Has improved with each of his four starts and he showed a good attitude when justifying support on handicap debut at Newcastle (6f, Tapeta; first run since gelded) last month; still looks feasibly treated off 3lb higher and he shaped as though this step back up in trip could suit last time; big player with cheekpieces added.

Dual turf winner (6f) last summer and he's run respectably from the front at Kempton (7f, Polytrack) in his last two starts; should benefit from his reappearance run last month and he's still unexposed at this trip; dangerous with cheekpieces reapplied.

No progress in his three 2yo runs but he returned after a gelding operation with a near-miss on handicap debut at Kempton (6f, Polytrack) 11 days ago; 2lb well in off the same mark here and he's open to more progress at this new trip; interesting contender.
