Remains winless under rules but he was a multiple points winner after leaving Paul Nolan in Ireland and has started well for his new yard, a strong-travelling second of 11 in 2m6f handicap hurdle at Exeter 23 days ago; can go one better here.

Prominent - went third from 2 out - kept on(op 11/4)
Took keen hold - towards rear throughout - hung left after 3 out - never near to challenge (jockey said - regarding running and riding - that his instructions were to jump off - sit mid-division and obtain best possible placing having not seen trip out on previous run at Bangor-on-Dee on 12 November 2025; jockey stated that he was happy with his position in early stages and kept gelding wide to obtain better ground; however - gelding begun to hang left-handed leaving back straight on 1st circuit and had continued to do so for remainder of race - despite his efforts to prevent him from doing so; he added that gelding jumped well throughout but - again - due to him hanging going into his hurdles he was unable to fully attack them and having to concentrate on getting him balanced and running straight; trainer confirmed intructions and expressed his satisfaction with ride)(op 125/1)
A fair 1m4f Flat maiden for Owen Burrows; yet to show that level of form in this sphere but took a step forward when sixth of 12 in 2m4f Wincanton handicap 17 days ago; possibilities off a slipping mark.
