About these rankings

Ranked by your selected finish count ÷ runners (trainers) or rides (jockeys). Top 3, Top 4 and Top 5 include wins; fallers and other non-finishers remain in the denominator. These measures do not use bookmaker place terms or measure each-way profit. A/E is always win-based. Exact equal percentages share a rank; tied rows are ordered by sample size, then name. Changing the minimum sample changes the qualifying rankings. Arrows compare your previous selection, not a historical world ranking.

Only recorded starters are counted. Non-runners and void races are excluded; dead-heat firsts count as wins. Novice and maiden use stored flags where available, otherwise race titles; beginners’ races count as novice. Numeric class labels and “Class N” are combined; invalid or missing classes appear as Unknown. Going uses the recorded description: mixed descriptions stay separate. Field size uses the recorded runner count.

A/E compares actual and expected winners using only valid decimal SPs. Average SP is the arithmetic mean across all priced runners, including losers. Price coverage is shown. These statistics do not measure profit or isolate the trainer’s or jockey’s contribution.
