What’s New at DC Network
Things have moved on sharply over the last few weeks, and several major upgrades have now gone live across the platform — all designed with one goal in mind: giving members a clearer, faster and more complete picture of the betting market than exists anywhere else.
When starting out this project I never thought we would end up at our current state in such a short space of time. The website idea originally started as a content betting site with Market Form introduced in the background, but such has been the early success of the edge, it has been impossible to put anything ahead of it.
I had never coded a website before, I had to learn everything from scratch and I am exceptionally proud of where the site currently sits after hundreds of hours of work. This has not been a rushed edge, this has been strength tested to ensure quality information comes to the fore and this has solely been done by myself, Daryl Carter with no outside input or help.
Market Form is the missing form book from Horse Racing. I understand for many stuck in their ways they will not immediately take to this new edge and possibly misunderstand that it is to be used as secondary form book. However, the edge is showing clear early signs of being able to stand on it’s own! Data collection over the next few months will continue to provide insight but the site is almost ready for launch.
Here is some of the things I have been working on recently…
Market Snapshots Now Saved to Results Pages
This is a big one.
For the first time, the state of the live betting market is being captured and preserved, then linked directly to race results, Market Form and racecard form.
That means you are no longer just reading live market pressure in the moment — I have built a growing historical archive of what the market looked like before the off, race by race. We already have 1000’s of rows for individual horses but now we have the entire race.
Support, weakness, late moves, pressure patterns… stored.
It creates something genuinely new:
A platform that can hold the state of the market.
Not just odds.
Not just results.
But market behaviour itself.
This is a major step — a genuine additional layer of intelligence, not another odds screen and with a clear proof of concept available for all to see.
Live Terminal Now Showing Best Available Price
I’ve rolled out bookmaker logos and best available prices across the Live Terminal.
The highlighted NOW price is the general market position — a useful benchmark.
Now I point you directly to the best available price in the market, removing the need to compare bookmaker screens yourself.
Simple idea. Massive practical upgrade.
Better prices matter.
And increasingly, members can see them instantly inside the terminal.
(More bookmaker logos are being added continuously.)
Racing Today Revamp
The Racing Today page has been rebuilt in a terminal-style format and is becoming a real daily launchpad for members and this goes LIVE from 28th April.
Now featuring:
- Daily UK & Irish meetings
- Non-runner alerts
- Betting angles and qualifiers
- Direct pathways into the Live Terminal
- Cleaner race-day navigation
- Furthest travellers
- Trainer / Jockey strike rates
Less static racecard page.
More race-day command centre.
Live Terminal Refresh Now Every 2 Minutes
Speed matters in live markets.
The terminal is now refreshing every two minutes, a major improvement on previous update intervals (15 mins).
And I am not stopping there. I have tried and tested 30-second refreshes which have worked well. That upgrade will roll out soon but I want to make sure there is not lag.
Target: 30-second refreshes in the coming weeks.
That moves the terminal even closer to a true live market radar.
Early Smart Money Now Shows Last-Run Proof
One of my favourite additions – sent in by member Chris B.
Where Early Smart Money at 10am is shown, we now show highlight where that race was for easy quick find in the results department.
Where This Is Heading
These aren’t isolated tweaks.
They’re parts of a bigger build:
- Live market intelligence
- Historical market memory
- Best-price decision support
- Preserved market snapshots
- Faster live signals
- Growing proof layers around patterns
Step by step, DC Network is becoming more than I could have imagined:
A market-first betting platform — not a tipping service, not an odds screen, but a decision environment like never seen before using my own edge-creations – Market Form.
In all honesty, I am hoping this has a serious effect on the racing industry over the next five years. This is not a gimmick.
