Build Your Own Race Ratings

Build Your Own Ratings System

At DC Network, we don’t just hand out numbers – we teach you how to build them.
On this page you’ll learn how to create your own race ratings from scratch, using the same core principles that power professional models: form, pace, class, speed, track bias and market behaviour.

  1. Set the factor weights (ground, C&D, class, jockey, etc.). *Use your own system i.e 1-5 range
  2. Enter today’s runners in the quick setup, ticking positives and negatives.
  3. Hit Apply to scoring table – you’ll get:
    • a full-view grid of the race, and
    • a bold rating for each horse, ranked highest to lowest.

You’ve effectively built your own ratings – based on the angles you care about.

Build Your Own Ratings System

Configure what matters to you, then score each runner against today’s setup. The tool turns your ticks into a race-shape rating and ranked list.

1. Configure your system

Set the weight (importance) of each factor. Higher numbers influence the final score more. You can tweak these from race to race.
